Canada just banned 737 Max8 from taking off, landing, or flying through Canadian Airspace...

Canada hadn't banned yet, because all Canadian pilots flying the Max8 had additional training regarding the nose pitch issue.

Not sure what the "new info" was that Garneau received.

I had been wondering why they hadn’t banned them too.

Everyone should watch Rachel Maddow’s excellent but very disturbing opening segment on this issue from last night’s show.
