(15,089 posts)I think she was limited to a maximum of 5 years for each of the two charges. So the max would be ten. Because the FARA charge was also part of the Virginia sentence, she had to make 30 months (out of the 60 she sentenced him) for that one concurrent with the 47 months he got for the first trial. For the second charge, she gave him 13 months. That makes a total for both federal charges of 90 months (47 + 30 + 13). Does that make sense?

Manafort is also being sued for $24 million.

Implying. I just thought since it took place minutes fter his sentence was handed dow.
