(49,381 posts)I'm looking forward to a long period of rest and relaxation under Leader Pelosi and our next Democratic President.
As Jesse Jackson would say, "Keep hope alive".

(507 posts)But it's FINALLY happening. All of these Faux News talking heads were good for nothing more than to prop up an illegitimate 'president'. I can remember decades ago, when folks started writing (days before email) advertisers that they intended to boycott their products, based on which shows they had their advertisements aired. Worked in the 70's, works in the New Millennium, though now it's being referred to as a 'vacation'
Yeah, uh huh...

(762 posts)I realize that it's ubiquitous in grocery stores and there are few other options for groceries. That doesn't mean that customer complaints can't work to get rid of this propaganda tool. There are other gossip/conspiracy magazines available for die hard readers.

(8,731 posts)Today her and Chris were talking of a free range pasture for ex Fox host's that crossed a line, even for Fox. Greta, Aldelson, OH'Reilly, Beck, and others to come. Open vacation pastures where they all can rant at each other and be ocassional guesses of Rusty Limpballs and Alex Jones. Feed em Unlimited Chic-Filet, with Bud Lite. Just make damn sure fracking and oil rigs are in those fields.

He would be the Eichmann of the Trump right organizing the concentration camps thats how evil he is. His large forehead seems to me to house some sort of deviant brain. I know I am going over board but Miller is the most innately evil person I think i have ever seen.

(3,282 posts)Except when it's pointed at people like Tucker it's "Buckling under pressure to the extreme left radicals" instead of "corporations running from openly hateful ideologies they wish to not be associated with."
Also, it still shocks and amazes me that anyone can take Jeanine Pirro anywhere remotely seriously. Her whole delivery and cadence when she speaks can only be described as self-parody.

(535 posts)From the article this OP is referencing, "But as The Posts media reporter Paul Farhi noted in December after Carlsons immigration comments, these advertiser decisions dont tend to affect the companys bottom line and the commercials can be aired at other times."
It's tempting to celebrate any movement in the right direction against the poison propaganda network but any effective boycott has to be large enough to impact their bottom line. What would be effective is for billionaire philanthropists to pool resources, buy controlling interest in Faux Noise and either shut it down or completely change the content it airs.
