The media reports so far seem to be quite circumspect about it all. I get that there are still newsworthy details coming out, but the knee-jerk snap analysis/hot take component that usually follows on is largely absent.

The media know Trump loves it when they talk about him; why not credit him with his part in this latest massacre?
