I presume that there were police long before there was widespread literacy. Why didn't our ancestors employ missing link species as police? Perhaps if they had done that, then there would be greater biodiversity in the world today.

(10,618 posts)So humanity won't evolve to a higher state. Instead, humanity will be wiped out by our successor. And there's a chance that successor might be dumber, but better equipped to survive by virtue of being more bloodthirsty and violent.
