TO: Senator Lindsey Graham (R-Spineless Traitor)
Dear Senator (or whatever you purport to be these days):
I just learned that you want an investigation into Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosensteins remarks about an alleged proposal to use the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office.
I am with you a hundred percent. Lets get everything out into the open, so that the American people can see and hear it all.
You do understand that at the first instance, such an investigation would have to consider whether Donald Trump has displayed behaviour that would lead to the belief that he is mentally unfit for office. This would mean that his rambling speeches, his incoherent statements, and his mindless tweets would all have to be reviewed in that context. So you might want to fire-up that exhibit stamp, Lindsey, because theres a shitload of material that is going to be marked and filed.
To determine whether Trump has demonstrated mental instability thereby confirming that suspicions of same were indeed justified psychiatrists and psychologists would need to be retained, who would then have to conduct one-on-one meetings with the subject in order to reach a conclusion as to his state of mind. It would also be necessary for them to watch hours of video footage to look for signs of mental incapacity, and tells of someone in the throes of possible mental illness. And as we both know, Lindsey, your pResident is not going to come off as a man in his right mind.
You also understand that for the sake of transparency and fairness, any doctors thus engaged would have to be recognized as experts in their field, whose credentials are above reproach. In other words, people like Dr. Ronny Candyman Jackson need not apply.
Given his need for attention, Im sure Donald will welcome the idea of being examined by a team of doctors many, many times. And given his calm demeanour and willingness to answer unpleasant questions, it will probably take only a few minutes before he starts tweeting about a witch hunt and/or a perjury trap.
Let me explain this in terms even you can understand, Lindsey. The only way Rosenstein can be accused of wrongdoing in discussing the possibility of Trumps removal from office via the 25th Amendment would be to prove that your pResidents own words and conduct never, in any circumstances, gave rise to such speculation.
As we both know indeed, as most of the country knows, as well as people around the world Trumps conduct has been such that questioning his mental state is an obvious path to explore. In fact, those who have questioned it would be guilty only of doing their Constitutional duty to ensure that the man who holds the highest office in the land is mentally capable of carrying out the responsibilities of that office.
(You might have to look up what Constitutional duty means because you and your Republican colleagues dont seem to know what that is.)
So, yeah, Linds I am behind you all the way on this one. I realize that with all of the other investigations your pResident is currently under, he wont mind you ensnaring him in yet another one. He will no doubt show his appreciation in the same gracious manner he always does.
On the bright side, establishing that Trump is mentally unstable could go a long way towards a solid insanity defence something that may well prove useful in the days ahead.
Your most truly,
--- NanceGreggs
P.S. I have no idea what Trump and the Russians have on you, Lindsey but it must be something really big. But no worries the truth always outs. So well all know the salacious details before too long.

that the only way Rosensteins concerns about Spankys mental fitness could be construed as politically motivated would be if Trumps behaviour never gave rise to a valid questioning of his mental capacity.
Hes also far too stupid to realize that his best course of action right now would be to lay low, keep his mouth shut, and not bring further attention to himself.
Then again, maybe Graham is laying the foundation for that pardon he knows will be necessary down the road. Hey, Donnie remember that time I tried to distract everyone from the Mueller investigation by going after Rosenstein?
Of course, Spankys reply would be that Graham was no more than a coffee boy he took golfing once because he felt sorry for him.

(33,331 posts)Lil Lindsey is calling out to us for help. He knows that Puppetrump is mentally ill and in need of intervention, but the Senator cannot speak freely. We must help him initiate the investigation you outlined.
It's the only humane thing to do.

I was thinking this past week that you should put your pieces on DU together and send them to the fucking moron, but then I thought, "Who would he get to read them to him?" and I couldn't come up with anyone.

(51,588 posts)I looked up a local public library and used that address and phone number since I live in CA. I couldn't use Nance Greggs since my email address is in my name so I left that out and sent the rest. The "topic" I had to select to write about was "Ethics" since it didn't fit in any of the other choices that were given.

(51,588 posts)I used a local public library in SC and their phone number. I do that or use an address from a Zillow ad for a home for sale from specific states and districts when I want to contact a senator or congressperson but don't live in their state/district. It works every time (mail or phone). It takes two minutes, literally. They never check and I have done it A LOT.
