Start the hearings now and by the time Mueller releases his report they would be ready to impeach.

i don't recall anyone inserting the term "allegedly" into drumpf's quotes about Democrats hating Jews. People have a right to hear exactly what someone said and make their own judgements.

I want people to be talking about how guilty Trump is from now to Election day. The press need something rel to cover. Let's give it to them! No matter the outcome.

But there also could be an even bigger risk in waiting too long.

Every day that you wait, you are further "normalizing" not only Trump's behaviour, but also stoking the RW myth that its all just a witchhunt, and that if they did have something, they would have done something. Its the same excuse Trump uses against Obama not doing much about reports of Russian interference before the election. They frame it as either Dems are too weak and wimpy to try, or that its all fake news and they know it is.

That the "if I shot someone on 5th Avenue, I wouldn't lose any support" mantra is already accepted by his base, and is slowly solidifying with more Republicans the longer this plays out. I think a recent poll showed that even though a majority think he has committed crimes, they still support him for President. So the longer Dems look gun shy, the longer the RW propaganda machine can cement in the alternative fact that they got nothin.

And when and if Dems finally do utter the I word, it will be too late. He will have enough Republican voters who will by then be conditioned to dismiss any and all charges against him either because they have been convinced it is all "fake news" and a set-up, or the other scary development of waiting too long, and that is a further acceptance of the President breaking the law. (To make America great again) Because by then the FBI will have been further tarred as a Democratic Deep State operation, and so even IF they "technically" found some bad behaviour by Trump, it was all about using fancy lawyer tricks to make witnesses lie for lesser time, and fake evidence. And so combined with their usual cheating, could take the WH again in 2020.
