I think that I also read that the training was written instructions given to all the pilots who fly the plane but when the plane starts to roller coaster up and down really fast that it is not easy to remember these sorts of things as they are actually happening in real time. I can imagine the million thoughts and feelings the pilots must have experienced. A manual correction is not the solution for a problem this severe.

(17,641 posts)and how easy is it to disconnect it and does it reset back? And the plane is a different plane: wings changed, engines and locations. It needed testing and certification and not be grandfathered in!
