Is the Nat'l Emergency Thingy Still On?
In light of the dire emergency at the southern border, the consequences of which will inevitably lead to being invaded by hordes of drug dealers, rapists, gang members and people who leave their prayer rugs in backyards, why is the “pResident” only talking about his contempt for a dead war hero?
Surely a “national emergency” should at least get a mention once in a while, lest the populace forget the imminent danger, the horrific possibilities, the necessity for acting right now before it’s TOO LATE! – and all the other stuff the words “national emergency” would seem to convey.
So has it been called off due to lack of interest? Was it cancelled when the ratings came in? Has the whole idea been shelved because the sponsors bailed?
If the country is supposed to believe there’s a “national emergency”, shouldn’t they be shown the courtesy of being told they can put their Trump-induced panic temporarily on hold while the "pResident" attends to more pressing matters - like pissing on John McCain's grave?
Just wonderin’ is all.
