He still works to improve people’s lives through Habitat for Humanity. He is a quiet, humble man. I love and admire him.

because had they not been involved in backroom dealings to get the hostages in Iran held until after the election he probably would have won as their being freed would have probably helped him.

He didn't cash in like Reagan, and the Bushes, he's giving to others instead. He left his Baptist church because they were not standing up to hate, that takes major conviction when he was so involved with his church previously. He is the best man to ever be president, not the most effective, Obama and Clinton were more of that, but he has the best giving heart of any of them, ever!

Love you President Carter. I am so proud that you were the first person I voted for that actually became president.

for which he seeks no accolades. It's wonderful to see the world is recognizing him now...his presidency did not receive the credit it deserved at the time.
