Leadership and tragedy

Instead of real leadership, the politicians are afraid to lead. They all see what is going on. They all know that Trump is destroying the country. Look at our "allies". They all doubt us with good reason.
As Trump slips into dementia and gets more angry, psychologists tell us he is falling apart. His actions and the advice of experts warn us of huge consequences but they do nothing. If you think just a moment about it, they are all afraid to stand up and confront him. They are waiting for some horrible even to happen so that everyone will demand he be removed and they won't have to accept any responsibility. They don't want to educate the public about the danger, they are waiting. I hope it isn't going to be an existential event that happens but it is no thanks to those cowards.
