Donald Trump made investigation about Donald Trump.
Never in the history of investigations has anyone acted with such a guilty conscience.
Mueller's job was to track down how Russia interfered with our elections and whether or not the Trump campaign assisted them in the process?
Like a wind-up Russian toy, Trump incessantly repeated that there was "no collusion", continued his overtures to Vladimir Putin, and assured the American people that he had no business dealings with Russia at all. In short, he acted like a Russian asset.
It was not Mueller's investigation that made Trump look guilty. It was the words and actions of Donald Trump himself. Every time he uttered "hoax" or "witch hunt", he looked more and more guilty of some sort of collusion with Russia.
Mueller's task had to be done. Donald Trump made it necessary.

He will do whatever he can to obfuscate the Mueller Report so the RW can go to work on deflecting/lying/micromanage, in order to create such a shitfest, people won't know what to believe.
