When making this analogy, it should be pointed out that there were NONE found over all the years of the Starr's activities, the Republicans' famous "impeachment in search of a crime."

Starr, aided by Brett Kavanaugh among others, finally set out to manufacture a crime they could use to try to remove President Clinton from office. A perjury trap -- lying under oath when out of nowhere they sprang a question about Monica Lewinsky on him.

In contrast, we KNOW Putin helped elect Trump (and that Trump has been working with Putin against the interests of the U.S. ever since), we just didn't gather sufficient proof of conspiracy within the parameters of the Mueller mandate.
