Rep. Schiff should call the former Republican Evan McMullin and tell him to bring all his recordings.

(187 posts)2. Evan McMullin?????
I believe it was Evan McMullin.

(14,628 posts)3. That's what I think too, but has McMullin ever confirmed it?
I don't think he ever held political office but was a Republican policy director before leaving the party after the 2016 election.

Evan also worked for the CIA.

(14,628 posts)7. The transcript of the conversation among GOP leaders in 2016:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/apps/g/page/national/read-the-transcript-of-the-conversation-among-gop-leaders-obtained-by-the-post/2209/
The conversation provides a glimpse at the internal views of GOP leaders who now find themselves under mounting pressure over the conduct of President Trump. The exchange, which was obtained by The Washington Post, shows that the Republican leadership in the House privately discussed Russia's involvement in the 2016 election and Trump's relationship to Putin, but wanted to keep their concerns secret.
Excerpt from transcript: (House majority leader Kevin McCarthy to colleagues in 2016) 'There's . . . there's two people, I think, Putin pays: Rohrbacher and Trump . . . swear to God."

(187 posts)8. Kevin McCarthy was recorded discussing with Paul Ryan...
... about Putin paying trump. The conversation occurred before the republican convention. It was written about in the Washington Post.

saying "let's keep it in the family"
I am so shocked that this tape is not all over hell and gone
It is evidence they took money and they all knew about it

(1,584 posts)10. Why doesn't Steyer sen some money on placing this audio in his ads?
There is a lot more material out there instead of just asking to impeach Trump. Put the info out there and the people will be asking to impeach Trump.
