If Starr Report Had Been Treated Same As Mueller Report? Lewinsky: "If F---ing Only"
Monica Lewinsky was asked via twitter what would have happened if the Ken Starr report on Clinton had been treated the same way as the Mueller report on Trump. She responded...
"Imagine if the Starr Report had been provided only to President Clinton's Attorney General, Janet Reno, who then read it privately and published a 4-page letter based on her private reading stating her conclusion that President Clinton committed no crimes," Kerr wrote on Twitter.
Lewinsky, whose relationship with Clinton was scrutinized by Starr's investigation, responded to this with a tweet: "if. f***ing. only."
The Ken Starr report on Clinton was given directly to the Republican-controlled House, who voted immediately to release it to the public, and then promptly voted to impeach Clinton.
Indeed, things probably would have been a little different if the Starr report had only been released to Janet Reno, and she only released a four page summary of it.
