WTF? CBS News article calls Schiff's brilliant statement "strident"

This is the sort of demented spin I'd expect from Fox News, not CBS:

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/house-intelligence-hearing-gets-heated-as-republicans-call-on-schiff-to-resign/

A visibly emotional Schiff, who did not know this broadside from Republicans was coming, had a strident response. At times raising his voice, he listed a litany of known and controversial interactions between the Trump campaign and Russia — including Donald Trump Jr.'s involvement in the Trump Tower meeting and former campaign chairman Paul Manafort's sharing of polling data with a Russian associate.

"You might think it's OK," Schiff said. "I don't."

in what they say, in the words they choose. It's disgusting, they are abusing the privilege of speaking to many people who don't have the benefit of responding or asking questions. It's good you're calling them out.

media (blind squirrel and all that). Corporate media are no longer the fourth estate in the sense which once engendered respect and even a pseudo-religious reverence amongst the populace. Today's corporate media are fascistic and quite frankly sociopathic.

As for CBS, this is quite in line with what I have come to expect from them. Call me jaded, but I'm not surprised at all.

I thought from just the little bit excerpted here that it was possible that the reporter didn’t know the actual meaning of the word “strident.” Nope!

It’s a terrible article. How could it purportedly be about Schiff’s response without quoting more than a few words of his while piling on with paragraphs quoting the GOP’s attacks? Honestly, it’s as if the person writing this was auditioning for Sarah Sanders’ job (and they’d have earned it).

here is her twitter feed before the article was produced

Segers is a Democrat, supported Clinton

cannot find political info on Gazis, but she is quite flowery in prose for a Nat Sec reporter

she did say a Rethug was having a tirade

The liberal media has been the conservative press all along.
