I vaguely remember an evening news program that featured newsreaders standing in front of images of Nixon and his henchman as the newsreaders read through the redacted transcripts. The phrase “expletive deleted” was heard every 10 seconds.

Barr’s “redacted” ploy won’t work either.

9. I hope it doesn't work. There's a reason Barr is offering NOW rather than later.

He gets to redact more now, because of the pending cases that the information will be used for, so can't be in the report. Then when those cases are over, it'll be another fight to produce those redacted parts, and the campaigning will be further underway...everyone busy.
