So much for all the breathless "reporting" by intellectually lazy so-called "journalists," all the premature chest-thumping about "complete exoneration" by Trump and his sycophants and enablers, and all the gnashing of the teeth defeatism and denial of too many so-called "leftists" who are eager to look past Trump's lawlessness and disloyalty and "move on" to more "urgent" matters.
"Also, I am aware of some media reports and other public statements mischaracterizing my March 24, 2019 supplemental notification as a summaryof the Special Counsels investigation and report. For example, Chairman Nadlers March 25 letter refers to my supplemental notification as a four-page summary ofthe Special Counsels review. My March 24 letter was not, and did not purport to be, an exhaustive recounting of the Special Counsels investigation or report."

(9,213 posts)Some of these guys are just obvious pawns for Trump so it is up to them to decide if they want to be on the wrong side of history or the right side.
Barr has to know that the truth will come out some day. In recent pictures he already looks like the pressure is taking a toll. He looks defeated and near the end of his rope for protecting Trump. The guilt on his face is obvious.

(6,812 posts)in his latest photos. My first thought was ill-health. He is only sixty-eight. Our Nancy just turned seventy-nine. However, I like your assessment that he looks defeated and guilty. Definitely, something is taking a toll on Mr. Barr.

(9,426 posts)willing to risk their reputations, defending tRump? People with nothing to hide - hide nothing. Why are they protecting this low-life, scam artist tRump? If tRump had been a (D) he would have been tarred and feathered long ago by the gop. They scraped the bottom of the barrel, then found tRump to be their "leader" A sub standard human being, no morals, no respect, no ideals, no character.

(4,016 posts)Exposing themselves, their families, their reputations (for some at least) and their 401K savings (to fight off subpoenas, court appearances and actual charges, through their personal lawyers) has been a recurring theme, even for mid-level folks.
The 'why' has me puzzled too as they must have known they could be subjected to serious legal pounding yet still chose to lie for the Orangemperor. To what end? No way Trump was going to pay their legal fees nor would most Republiscum-related organizations like the RNC. Yet still they lied, bamboozled, deceived and more, all in the service of the Orangeturd.
Amazing so, so many did so and still lie even after the SC's office has closed.

tRump has already begun the propaganda barrage. He's depending on CONservative plants everywhere to back him up and place roadblocks, like McCONnell in the Senate.
