An election cannot fix a nation of people who have completely lost their fucking minds. That is exactly what has happened. History tells us what happens when the people of a nation loses their fucking minds.

Even if a Democrat is elected. America has a sickness. Plain and simple.

will fade away as the newer, diverse citizens become voters.

3. Who ever holds power gets corrupted when the money flows their way

The banks, Wall Street and the Corporations still run things. They control the messages the media pimps through their advertising dollars and they control the politicians with donations and future huge paydays after their time in office. They'll always buy enough Republicans and Democrats to keep things tracking in the direction they want.

4. On the administrative end...

It will take a Democrat elected president 8 years to come close to fixing all the damage the trump pResidency has done to this country. And we must have another Democrat become president for 8 more years to ensure that it is fixed. Unfortunately the damage diplomatically he has done with our true allies may never again be fixed to where it was.

My only hope is that people will, in that time, figure out that these people are indeed loons so we can move forward as a nation.

On a personal note. I have a lifelong friend that at one point was more liberal than I was. Faux News and extremist right AM radio fixed all that. He is fully assimilated. I can't talk to him about politics without him flying in a rage. But politics is all he wants to talk about. We haven't spoken to each other in years and it will perhaps remain that way for the remainder of our days. And that makes me sad.
