Mick Jagger set to undergo heart valve replacement surgery: report

Mick Jagger will reportedly undergo heart valve replacement surgery this week.

Jagger, 75, will have the operation in New York and is expected to make a full recovery, Rolling Stone confirmed Monday.

The news emerged Monday, just days after it was announced that The Rolling Stones put their upcoming tour in the United States and Canada on hold while the frontman received medical treatment.

“Mick Jagger has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time as he needs medical treatment,” a statement to the group’s Twitter account read Saturday. “The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible."

The band did not specify what medical treatment Jagger needed.

Now and the radio stations would fade fast at the end but usually not, and we hip kids loved it.

I just cranked the Stones while making dinner.

Also discovered one of our cats, Leo, apparently loves them. He jumped up on the side table where the iPod dock is and sat facing the speakers. He stayed there the whole time. I always play music while cooking and he's never done that before. Dude's got good taste.

The Beatles and Stones (all?) are in their 70s.

There must be several of their songs that are applicable.
