Romney said that he was merely making a funny. Hmmm, let's test that, shall we?

One thing that I know about great jokes is that they have a tendency to spread across various social, cultural and even racial lines. Although, black comedians like Richard Pryor and Dave Chappelle told their jokes to mostly black audiences, they're loved universally.

I, myself, and a huge fan of good-old boy comedian, Ron White. I think that he's one of the best guys out there.

Romney, while defending his birth certificate joke against an accusation that he was merely pandering to the birther crowd, said that he was just trying to be funny. Which begs to question, how big of an idiot this man this actually is, that he thinks that he can just alienate everyone who isn't a pasty white birther and still win the election?

But, I digress. Who doesn't like funny? We all do, right?

So I ask, let's say that Mitt Romney told that birth certificate joke in front of a mostly black audience, do you think that it would receive such as much of a positive reaction as it did the mostly white audience?

Let's see how "funny" that joke actually was…

Mitt packing' them in.

I had another cousin who used to inundate me with that kinda stuff too, but he died this past spring. I like to think that God hooked him off the stage.

most Republicans didn't already actually believe Obama was born in Kenya (and is a Muslim...not that there's anything wrong with that!)

This is like one of those Ed Schultz polls Rachel Maddow referred to the other night on her show...when discussing the polls showing Rmoney has ZERO PERCENT of the African-American vote!

There wasn't an indoor venue large enough to hold Obama's crowds.

If that had been an Obama speech even in the middle of no where there would be no room to stand.

They think "trying to be funny" erases the stupidity of what they said.

And yet they are never funny.
