Right to Life...huh? Aren't there people who die every day who might have been saved with a Bone Marrow transplant?

Why isn't there a national registry then...to COMPEL you ---- to FORCE you to go down and donate your bone marrow to save a life?

This person...this actual person will DIE without your submission of your body. And that would just be for an uncomfortable afternoon.

Not Nine Months.

Imagine the right wing outrage if we mandated even compulsory blood donations to save lives. Staggering.

Suppose your sister needed a kidney transplant or she would die, and you are the only matching donor. The courts cannot force you to donate your kidney, even though the operation, while unpleasant, is usually a fairly quick recovery for the donor. Even though your sister may die without your kidney, your right to your own bodily autonomy comes first.
Same for abortion. What gives the court the right to force you to donate your body and give up your bodily autonomy for a zygote?

You can't compel...as far as certain religions go that you even DISALLOW your child to have a blood transfusion.

After that these so called "pro lifers" couldn't give less of a shit about anyone. Isnt it disturbing how the pro lifers want to give citizenship rights to the unborn and then they want to take down any form of health care laws that might actually save lives?

Anyone claiming to be Pro-life must be pushing for a National Health Care system.

Aren't they?

Someone will die if you don't donate your bone marrow.

People are sometimes completely cured with a bone marrow transplant.

Right wingers don't give a shit.

Forcing someone to donate bone marrow would send them into spasms.

I'm all for donation, but am dead-set against anyone being forced to do something so invasive. Sorry.
