Shameless

Putting aside Trump’s endless lies and obvious corruption, how can you Republicans listen to his statements about mothers and doctors planning to ‘execute’ newborns – and not cringe?

How can you hear him ramble on about the noise from wind turbines causing cancer – and not hang your heads in shame?

How can you listen to him blather on about his Bronx-born father being born in Germany – and not be completely humiliated that this is the brain-addled idiot you put in the White House?

How can you watch Jared Kushner dismissing Russia’s attack on our country’s democracy by saying “so they bought a couple of FaceBook ads” – and not be ashamed of this entire administration?

How can you hear Lara Trump declare that Germany has suffered a ‘downfall’ due to the immigrants allowed into that country, and further state that this is “the worst thing that’s ever happened in Germany” – and not want to hide in shame?

How can you watch Sarah “Huckster Bee” Sanders, your “pResident’s” spokes-whore, lie repeatedly to the American people – and not want to dig a hole to bury yourself in?

I’ve heard you GOPers on political shows and when confronted with the incredibly insane bullshit your “pResident” and/or his surrogates spew, the best you can come up with is phrases like, ”his words were not helpful”, or, ”I would have framed it differently”, or, ”I don’t necessarily agree with that particular statement”.

Seriously? Is that the best you can do to defend what is clearly indefensible? Is that the best you can come up with in the face of your “pResident’s” statements being beyond mere lies, but now being more in the realm of a complete break with reality?

Doctors and mothers planning to execute newborn infants? Cancer-causing wind turbines? Russia’s interference in our elections just a matter of a couple of ads on FaceBook?

Any decent person would be ashamed of supporting anyone who spews such inanity. But it’s apparent that all of you lost your decency a long time ago.

You speak for me, as Thomas Paine spoke for the Colonists. Thank you.

accusing doctors and mothers of conspiring to execute babies is the most awful and egregious thing he has ever said. Trump exploiting the tragic and painful experience of a mother losing a baby for his political gain is evidence of his sick, cruel, and demented mind.

I am shaken by the horror of his words.

6. Absolutely, he is sick in the head to even think something like this, let alone say it out loud

It's an outright lie. A sick fantasy.

Having said that, if I were anti-abortion, I would be even more angry about this type of misrepresentation, as it's so outrageous, it makes pro-lifers look like psychopaths.

He is so dependent on using inflamed rhetoric that he debases every single thing his sycophants say they believe in.

Do you post it anywhere else? It would be good to have your thoughts accessible to everyone.

Read those, so far be it from me to question the universe. There was one about the excuses Trump's base makes for him. The excuse I can't stand is "I didn't vote for his personal life." Or some variant. As if one can separate his crapola personal qualifies from how he'll make governance decisions. What were people thinking? Oops...I keep forgetting that the T-word doesn't apply to Trump or his fans.
