The Trump administration offered its first full argument Wednesday for its reversal on the Affordable Care Act, arguing in new court filings that the entire law “should not be allowed to remain in effect,” CNN reports.

“The government argues that the so-called ‘individual mandate’ requiring Americans to have coverage is unconstitutional and that the rest of the law should therefore also be struck down, even if the government ‘might support some individual provisions as a policy matter.'”

is just wrong.

And of course, the people making this decision have remarkably good care themselves, and simply don't know what it's like for many other people.

Especially those who work for the federal government. Every year they get to choose from several plans and so can fine tune their coverage each year. Even companies with good coverage don't do that. Usually you get the plan they offer and that's it. Just hope it works if you need it.

6. Didn't SCOTUS already rule that the mandate was constitutional...?

That was ruled in back in June 2012…and all five justices voting in its favor remain on the Court.

Roe vs. Wade the evangelical GOP base should ask. Because they need abortions, lots of them apparently as they are not a fan of birth control in the GOP, to corral evangelicals into voting GOP.

don't want healthcare for the masses, but still, seeing the Justice Department deployed to attempt to destroy the ACA reflects principally the lunatic obsession of the mentally ill occupant of the White House with destroying President Obama's legacy.

Claiming the ACA won't be destroyed while they claim they aren't when they are, and promised something much better like trump has done only to leave millions high and dry with no health care plan , or one that's worthless and calling it better. When will those supporters learn he's costing you with higher premiums, less coverage , and trash can policies , and trying to take away the ACA from millions of American people. Just like with their tax plan tell them one thing then do another, and trump has a long career of doing just that to people. trump and the GOP are scamming the American people by attacking affordable health care, and attacking Social Security.

11. How can this not lose them the election? How can they be this dumb?

Don't they know their base is theirs no matter what, and that they need to swing for the independent vote??And independents need to see doctors?

Is their hatred of minorities that complete, that they're willing to lose power just to hurt some brown people for a limited period of time?

Because this would hand the potus and senate to the dems, and we'd re-up Obama's complete, orgianal ACA, and probably even tighten it up???
