There's more to obtaining a contempt citation in court than just saying someone refused to appear.

Fortunately Nadler and our other leadership know what to do and how to do it and aren't allowing themselves to be buffeted into screwing it up in order to throw red meat to the base.

The vast majority of such contempt votes result in a referral to the DOJ. In theory, if they choose to prosecute, the normal areas would enforce the ruling (e.g., federal prison).

However - I think it's still an open question whether Nadler even has the votes to find him in contempt in the first place. Certainly not for the form of "inherent" contempt that would theoretically give the House the power to imprison Barr directly.

6. Coming home from golfing,

my local radio station's noon news was proclaiming that the extensive Mueller report found no collusion and no obstruction. The Mueller report exonerated Trump, it's time to investigate the crooked FBI and Democrats who led the witch hunt.

Central Pa. here where everyone assumes that Democrats will win back Pa. The state Pa. Senate just voted to delay installation of new voting machines.

Impeachment can wait until after Trump wins a second term. Republicans are not playing defense, they are in attack mode. So far only 4 of our Democratic candidates have gone after Trump from what I've seen.
