the goofy mailman didn’t pick it up. He delivered the mail, left the goods, and drove on. My wife took it all to the local food bank.

We’ll try again. Maybe this year it will work better.

never leaves a notice for it and the last time when I found out on my own and put food out he left it. I chased him and had him take it but he seemed pissed that I insisted. After that I'm done with participating, I'll just do it on my own and give it to a group that wants it.
