What is Pelosi waiting for? Is it Mueller's upcoming testimony? Something else?

I feel like, she and others want something in the news cycle that will be the pivot point to take more action.

If not, then I just don't know.

I have thought that she has been pretty savy in handling trump, and realize that actions they take, have to be thought out, but I am at a loss right now.

5. It's a calculated move

because the current Senate will not vote to convict. I do think she and the rest of the Dems in the House need to move more swiftly on pre impeachment hearings or whatever you want to call them. I need to see Rod Rosenstein under oath on live tv, hopefully for 11 hours or more. I need to see Carter Page under oath, and Don McGahn and Reince Preibus and Sean Spicerand all the rest of them. I need a neverending parade of live telecast hearings. Get them under oath and watch them lie, squirm or TELL THE TRUTH. A constant parade, all summer long. Neverending. Until the American people finally understand what is going on.

That said, I also think Nancy Pelosi owes it to us to tell US the truth about why she isn't pressing for impeachment. "He's not worth it" just doesn't cut it. "The GOP will never convict" does, and needs to be said OVER AND OVER AND OVER again.

I agree with her. There is evidence from political science that suggests she is right. See, for example, the book "What is Populism," by Jan-Werner Muller. I suspect she has read it.

many Dump supporters seem to be rabid sociopaths who don't trust "rigged" gubment and could react badly to any attempt to hold their racist hero accountable. It's possible that was part of Dump's plan all along: demonize the "deep state" so that when it starts holding him accountable for his many crimes his base will go batshit crazy. Pelosi may have fears of some violent backlash and wants to be sure the evidence is undeniable. May also want Mueller to testify first.
