6. The way this law was written it would be illegal

for any Georgia resident to leave the state for an abortion if there was a heartbeat detected. This law was sponsored by Ed Setzler. He is the Representative for the 35th House District in Georgia. I came within a 1000 votes of beating him last year.

It's recommended that home pregnancy tests work starting at two weeks, and the fetal heartbeat can be detected at three-four weeks. Not much of a window.
