We are doing a somewhat unusual contest this month. Our theme Sacred/Inspirational Places/Spaces was chosen in honor and memory of those who have been victims of hate crimes in their houses of worship, or for the loss of those structures due to arson, bombing, accidental fire, or acts of nature. This is not about religion, but about the freedom to choose among the diverse ways we connect our souls to our families, our communities, our past and our yearning for meaning in life.
