A hypothetical : 6 more years of Trump but it all ends in charges and marched out of the WH in cuffs

... Or a Dem win in 2020 but Trump and everyone in his circle gets off scott free and he assumes his 'elder statesman' role and continues to mooch for many years?

The six year choice probably means one or two SCOTUS appointments as well.

We also can't afford one or two more SCOTUS appointments.

Our country would be totally unrecognizable and all that we could do would be tell our kids and grandkids about how great our country USED to be - even despite it's flaws. Our kids, grandkids, especially our daughters and granddaughters, may never know freedoms again that we took for granted and let trump and the republican party destroy. Even now, they may not know the natural world we grew up in - bees, butterflies, sea life, etc.

For everyone who is responsible for him being in office and stacking the deck against humanity, I wish I could whack every single one of them -- twice on Sunday, for calling themselves Christian AND for putting him in power.

There truly is something wrong with their brains.

So, that is hardly a choice.

The sooner he's gone, the sooner we can start preparing the damage. And we definitely don't need any more Trump judges on any federal court at any level.

So I'd rather have him out without criminal penalties than to allow him for more years of doing damage to this country.

republic to a tyrannical form. Just this morning.

What's not to understand that our nation, our rights and freedoms, and our future wellbeing are all at stake? That the last thing on our list to worry about is just what happens to that fat orange wannbe dictator after we get rid of him.

Baconator, the Republican Party and over 80% of the wealth of this nation are controlled by a new RW kleptocracy to whom democracy is both an existential threat and an intolerable insult. Trump is only a clown perched on the tip of the iceberg he imagines he directs.

I'm not confident he'll finish out his term, though.

If we lose in 2020 it will take a civil war to restore this country. And keep in mind, they have nukes and a mad man willing to use them.

There's no reason he shouldn't endure the same process Michael Cohen went through for the exact same charge involving the exact same incident. Lock him up. And a Democratic POTUS must never, ever for a second muse about pardons.
