Can somebody please explain to me

the game that Rethug Sen. Richard Burr is playing? This is the same Burr who was mentioned in the Mueller report as leaking information about the investigation to the Trump administration. So, why did he subpoena Trump jr? It's certainly not out of some awakening integrity...

because I"ll never ever believe that Burr is doing this for the good of the country - or even the good of his party.
