OP
Cool, I still have to finish Season 1 and 2. It's like a modern Star Trek.

stupid, even for a spoof show...

DO NOT READ FURTHER UNLESS YOU'VE COMPLETED SEASON 2
It was important to the plot.
Isaac needed to connect with humans in order to betray the Kaylons. Otherwise, the universe would have fallen to the power of that computer robotic race.
And, it is a spoof show. Seriously, you have a problem with a woman who falls in love with an intelligent mind that can change his outer persona to her liking, but don't say a thing about the gelatinous Don Juan that slugs around the corridors of the Orville?

I've seen every episode. I've enjoyed it the same way I enjoyed the original Star Trek when it was new. Yes, I'm old.

L.A. to Vegas was much better.

And they cancelled LA To Vegas and Brooklyn 99 because of it.

...love the show. So does my wife.
Despite being a spoof....it tackles some serious social issues. My wife was seriously raged at the forced sex change episode.
