And frankly I have to say looking from the outside in, as Trump turns the holiday into a political rally, is going to be extremely bizarre.
It's normally one of my two favorite holidays (Thanksgiving is the other) but I won't feel like I'm missing out this year.

(32,634 posts)I'm not watching it, but I might go to see the great fireworks display we have in downtown Pittsburgh. I'll guarantee you, Chump isn't welcome here and the fireworks are impressive.

(15,536 posts)The Marine Band was playing and the weather was gorgeous and the crowd was terrific. The music was so moving and we sat on the steps and listened. I also like to watch it on PBS every year.
Not this year.
