Judiciary Committee issues Subpoenas for Hope Hicks & Annie Donaldson

House Democrats Subpoena Hope Hicks and Annie Donaldson

The House Judiciary Committee said on Tuesday it had issued subpoenas for Hope Hicks and Annie Donaldson for testimony and documents related to the committee’s ongoing investigation into obstruction of justice and public corruption by President Trump, his associates, and other members of the administration.

The committee had previously sent document requests to Hicks, a former communications director for Trump and Donaldson, former chief of staff of White House counsel Don McGahn, in March as part of its sweeping investigation. As of late March, Hicks had planned to turn over documents as part of that investigation.

The subpoenas set a deadline for both former Trumpworld figures to submit documents to the committee by June 4. The date for Hicks testimony has been set for June 19. Donaldson’s is set for June 24.

The subpoenas represent yet another escalation of the tensions between House Democrats and the White House. The president has insisted he will resist all matters of oversight following the issuance of the Special Counsel report into Russia electoral interference. And, so far, his top current and former aides have resisted Democratic efforts to compel testimony. Earlier on Tuesday, former White House counsel Don McGahn declined to appear before the House Judiciary Committee after having received a subpoena of his own.

Sounds like the American People, are the last on the list for time considerations. If this is how they are going to run the clock out, subpoena ALL of them now. No more consecutive subppeonas.
Let's get real, The end game is the Supreme Court, bc we are talking impeachment to death, and the gop are hoping we lose another SCJ so trump will win preliminary issues there. After ALL of this, and we will never see the report, and trump will go on to destroy this country. They have nothing but time, and rely on Democrat(?) apologists to let things stay status quo.
Why June? bc Hope had NO idea she would be called, and needs now to prepare her papers and things? Shit, give me a break. When will Americas time be important? You know, the folks who pay for this circus? Never ending, but, that's the goal isn't it?

Start the clock on the time it takes between when Don McGahn refused to show up for testimony today and the time it takes Nadler to "complete the required process" to actually do something to compel his testimony. Wonder what the over/under odds Vegas would give on that?

I agree with you get the entire list of names together and send out all the subpoenas now and stop giving them so long to start the clock on their refusals to show up.
