I think he is terrified of impeachment. He was acting desperate, scared. Keep the pressure on Democrats, it's working.

(630 posts)Trump is such a classic insecure bully. I bet even if innocent of something, he'd feel the need to freak out, bluster, and kick up a fuss if accused. And when guilty, he just self-immolates. If it wasn't for money, his celebrity brand, or a team of enablers, he would have collapsed a long time ago.

(82,849 posts)When a deal goes south in his personal business, he can just bluster and whine and stomp out of the room, then go look for the next mark. If he's really in deep, he can blatt about lawsuits and tying things up in court if the other side insists he live up to his obligations. That isn't an option here.
Keep the pressure on; Trump doesn't do pressure.

(2,850 posts)"The pressure is getting to Trump" or "Trump's behaving erratically, the pressure must be working"? The fact that people are always saying it, and Trump is still in office should tell you something. The man is an emotionally incontinent shitblister. He eats personality disorders for breakfast. He's been foaming at the mouth and flailing around like a schizophrenic chimp on a meth binge since day one. This is not new, it's normal for him.
The only thing that is "working" is this asshole's apparent quest to turn the federal government into a farce.
