I'm thinking if all this declassifying is supposed to help Trump, he would have done it sooner. Anything declassified of course will be completely cherry- picked and misrepresented like Barr's summary of the Mueller report.

The 'president' has already told Barr what to find. He did it today shouting over the helicopter.

There was plenty of reasonable cause to investigate Russian interference. The fact that Trump's campaign got caught in any surveillance is Trump's fault.

- Its going to be very difficult to "selectively declassify" material to spin the investigation as nefarious - too much is already known

- Once something is declassified, then anyone who had knowledge while it was classified can freely speak of their knowledge. All the "enemies" he is targeting can tell the truth if they try to lie.

- Don't be surprised if there are "leaks" of things *not* declassified if they try to play games.

- This will probably end up like the "vote fraud" investigation that quietly ended when they realized they couldn't fake a report that said tens of millions of "illegals" voted for Hillary.

I think this whole BS has the potential to backfire on Trump and Barr. My guess is they will just let it hang out there and not really do much other than use it to cast doubt on the investigation. We shall see how far they are willing to push it.
