DUers are excited to donate to candidates, but ACLU is fighting for us NOW. UPDATE ABORTION

They are doing a lot... I'm making this plug for Duers to join and donate to ACLU because I believe you believe in what they are doing, I'm tapped out with what I can give to them this year, and while donating to candidates is important, what ACLU is doing NOW and which requires funding NOW can't wait.

Just got an update letter from ACLU (national) on where they are with abortion law challenges:

**Successsfully blocked two KY laws

**Filed challenge on Ohio's six-week ban (due to go into effect July 10)

**Preparing legal challenge to Georgia's six-week ban

**Developing legal challenge to Alabama's complete ban on abortion

** Mississippi (challenge with Center for Repro Rights)

** Missouri eight-week ban to be challenged shortly

And if you need more evidence of what ACLU is doing to fight back for all of us, just google "Trump's Big, Beautiful Wall Crumbles in Court," Voting Rights, Racial Justice and any number of other issues impacting our civil liberties.

5. I agree. I'm currently tapped out, but when things change...

the first two things I'll donate to are PP and ACLU.

Both of them are hanging out there keeping up the fight and need all the help they can get.

(After those two, a couple of local animal shelters get a check.)
