BTW for Russia to have done what they did they needed inside help and they
got that and then some.

(70,567 posts)... families were against Trump and voted for Hillary, statistically Hillary was a lock,
in Florida she had 100,000 vote lead in the early vote, the chairman of OH's republican
party said of Trump he makes my dog vomit, exit polls had HRC winning, and on and on
and yet somehow Trump won?

They'll be no doubt doing that again in 2020 with the help of trump

businesses had failed, he had declared bankruptcy multiple times, and by the time of

Saudia Arabia, and China all of which have their hooks into him for billions.

(6,556 posts)Watch the main stream media reporting already. Cast doubt on this, cast doubt on that, all geared to start rigging the Democratic primary. We are actually aiding and abetting their efforts by our rhetoric.

(70,567 posts)Every time I hear about Trump being re-elected I want to scream because he
wasn't elected the 1st time. We have gone from Russia didn't meddle in the
election to yes, Russia tried to meddle but those Russian had no effect on the
out come.

Paul Manafort and Rick Gates provided the

the Russians to target swing states.

(9,688 posts)And it's THAT (the inside help, the encouragement) that's the real issue here. (And 3 years into this, I continue to be shocked, both by the betrayal and by the continuing attempts by Republicans and Trumpistas to thwart any attempts to do something about it)

don't you dare think they weren't doing it in 2008 and 2012 when they were buying all of the voting machines, they just couldn't over come the wave.
2016 was a COUP and we are enduring it now

I'd been saying for years that Obama should have carried Georgia at least once. He certainly should have carried North Carolina in 2012.
The "fix" has definitely been in for a long time...

(7,142 posts)to oversee elections in banana Republics. One of the main tools we used was exit polling. Exit polling is much more than just asking people who they voted for, it is a reliable source to verify the authenticity of an election. When exit polling differs from vote counts one can be pretty certain that votes were flipped or not counted. The right has succeeded in pushing the narrative that exit polling isn't reliable, that is a flat out lie.
When people say that there is no evidence that votes were flipped they are telling the truth, voting machines are never pulled out and independently audited. The owners of the machines claim proprietary rights to their software. Think about that. Proprietary rights to 1+1=2.
Democratic voters need to turn out in numbers to overwhelm the rigged voting machines, we can do it, stay strong.

watoos
(7,142 posts)it controls the narrative and the new narrative is that all of a sudden exit polling isn't reliable.
On the other hand, I have heard no one come to the defense of exit polling. We need an exit polling spokesperson.

(15,550 posts)however, sometimes it doesn't come out until decades later and long after the crook is dead, so it's not much of a consolation to me. By then, a lot of damage has been done, the crooked offspring will be living the high life, and the rest of us will have already paid the dues.

I mean, clearly a mob dynamic. What's it take for mobs to be blown open? Why is this so hard, pervasive, and intransigent?

(7,142 posts)the importance of the narrative cannot be over stated. Plus the fact that the voting machines can be pre-programmed to flip votes, with no machines ever being pulled out and independently audited they will never get outed.
Remember the computer programmer who was flying in to testify about rigging machines, was it for the 2004 election, his small plane crashed and burned on his way to the hearing.
I have been voting into a black hole for years, no paper trail, no nothing, in central Pa. We are supposed to get new voting machines but the Republicans are working to delay them until after the election.
