(15,187 posts)I think you can take the word "nearly" out of your response.

(38,583 posts)Sometimes he starts out with something not completely untrue, but before the rhetorical paragraph, it's always a complete and utter lie.

I've read a lot of his transcripts, He's obviously not a rhetorician, since he usually can't even complete a coherent sentence. How can you tell when a paragraph ends? It's more like a word gumbo, no discernible structure.
It's how a con man speaks, no attempt to convince with evidence and logic, just baffle them with BS.

Just sayin'; don't kill the messenger...

(21,946 posts)keeps saying he's in love with Kim, they have "chemistry", he and Putin are close friends, etc. ad nauseum.
I've been around here a long time and most of the old timers would never call me anything like that.

(30,820 posts)as well as posting oral sex graphics, in an attempt to make a joke out of Trump that makes it seem like being gay is a dirty secret.
That winds up being insulting and hurtful to gay people - really it should offend us all - and many are speaking out when they see any hint of it.
Thus the warning by ADX.
Peace.

(5,106 posts)Yesterday I let myself get into an argument that carried over until today because I was accused of being homophobic. It was simply that I DIDN'T AGREE that something else that was posted regarding Trump/Putin WAS homophobic.

(1,480 posts)If it's not newsworthy, there are no checks at all on him.
He knows how to propagandize. He learned from his buddy Hitler (whose books he keeps next to his bed).
Martin Eden
(12,881 posts)Call it gaslighting or whatever, he's normalizing the incessant lies and rhetorical abuse through sheer overwhelming volume.
Thanks.

(14,498 posts)Volumes have been written about tRump's insane need to gain "wins" with everything, perhaps originating from his days as a real estate shark and winning every "deal". It's a rabid, psychotic obsession and losing is never an option. I suspect Kim has the same personality which is characteristic of his family dynasty and craving to be seen as a god-figure.
Another commonality with tRump and Kim is their psychotic drive to demean or destroy those they see as competition (past and present/real or imagined). Kim has the evil luxury of the firing squad and tRump has his Twitter and the bully pulpit.
Let us endeavor to end the reign of both these despots and stains on humanity.

(2,353 posts)This will be a big turn off to many voters. They need a situation room in congress to address these outrageous claims trump continually makes. They should have press briefings too. Obama wont talk.... maybe bring in Obama staff like Rice. A tweet here and there not effective.
