RNC Giving Tickets to Donors for Trump's Fourth of July Celebration

For decades, it’s been a nonpartisan celebration of America. But this Thursday, President Donald Trump’s hijacked Independence Day event in Washington, D.C. will be distinctly Republican. So much so, in fact, that the Republican National Committee has reportedly been handing out tickets to major donors so they can take in Trump’s speech. One RNC fundraiser who was offered free tickets told HuffPost: “He’s going to have tanks out there. It’s going to be cool... He wants to have a parade like they have in Moscow or China or North Korea.” Meanwhile, Trump’s re-election campaign and the RNC announced Tuesday that they had raised $105 million in the second quarter of this year, surpassing what President Barack Obama raised in the same period during his re-election campaign.

2. If he gives a campaign speech, the RNC should pay all costs...

If they are filling up the area with Repukes, they should pay all costs, including any damage to the streets by his stupid tanks.

It might be smart to pay the money they owe the Parks Dept. for the inauguration before they add even more. I believe it is $7K they still owe.

He should also be charged with violating the Hatch Act.

The Democrats haven't even sued for his tax returns. I am stunned at how weak we seem to be. There has been no consequences for ignoring subpoenas. The GOP wins because they are loud and quick. If any of this insanity had been done by dems there would instant and crushing actions by Republicans. The GOP knows how to suck the air out of the room and get all of the attention. We are so demure and polite. We are watching our country die, but we don't want to seem rude....

Someone on MSNBC said it, not the DNC, or any Dem politcian has yet to receive a block of tickets to hand out. That makes this just another highly partisan campaign rally for Trump, and the tax payers get the bill.
