it doesn't matter what they do.

No impeachment, no pushback, nothing happens except they get to give more money to their donors (for example, those contractors who are running Trump's concentration camps).

OK, to be fair, they might get a sternly worded letter asking nicely that they attempt to follow the law, if it is convenient for them to do so.

Whose fault was it that the Obamacare roll out was a disaster? Dems lost 64 House seats because they were too timid to stand up for Obamacare.

But if progressives had turned out in large numbers, it would’ve been a moot point. I do agree that it’s time to impeach him. I still think Pelosi has a strategy in mind to eventually open an impeachment inquiry.

But, other than that, there’s not much they can do. We have a complicit Senate and DOJ. If we get power in 2020, we can hold them accountable legally. I think that’s our only hope.

will be like 2016. We will be at a disadvantage due to Russian interference, Republican voter suppression, and an unfavorable electoral college.

The key is, we must turn out in huge numbers to overcome those obstacles. The good news is that I don’t think people will be as susceptible to Russian propaganda this time. Plus there will be less people voting third party or staying home, I think.

But, of course, no Senate Majority leader has ever denied a president the right to nominate a Supreme Court Justice before, either, so there isn't really any question of whether or not the Republicans in the Senate will back the Court or Trump. McTurtle has already made the answer to that one crystal clear way before now. McTurtle will back the SCOTUS ONLY when they have such a lopsided majority that it will become nothing other than a rubber stamp for right wing decisions.

They said the question could not be added at this time. They left it open if additional information convinced them. They sent the case back to the lower courts for more argument which is where it is right now.

She is a trumpie fan, and a Canadian immigrant, so she answered it. There is a threat on the sample that if it is not fully filled out a federal agent will be sent out to her home. This is not even the real census, but it is a legal requirement that it be filled out. It was very intimidating.

The judge made it clear that the injunction is still in effect. One of the government lawyers said he'd been instructed to figure out a way to include the question while still complying with the Supreme Court's order (he's also been instructed by Trump to spin straw into gold, but that's another project). The judge wants an explanation by Friday as to how this might happen, but the injunction still holds.
