(5,812 posts)Scary, I was half asleep and thought I was having a stroke because the room was moving around me. My gentleman friend lives in Redondo Beach and he texted that it hit pretty good there, too.

(25,586 posts)Granted, it was because I ran down the stairs from my bedroom to the living room so fast that I bashed my skull on the crossbeam at the bottom of the stairway, but Im still counting it as quake-related.

I felt the same way about getting hurt that way!

(5,812 posts)in an end unit of a 3 story condo (you know the kind, with the garage being the first story) and the whole, freaking wall of her top story bedroom broke off of the condo...right next to her bed.
That was one scary earthquake.

Searles Valley...that would explain the shaking here.

Typical Southern California living!

This site has the main quake at 10:33, now showing a 6.4 on the Richter Scale.

There have been some aftershocks at 4.0 and 3.5 already too.
