1 million x 1000 1 billion

Why the heck doesn't Jeff Bezos and other billionaires donate a billion dollars to 1000 small cities in the USA? No skin off their knees. My city needs a new water plant ... it would really benefit the local folks. Why do they cling to their money? 1 million dollars is plenty to help big time for 1,000 small cities in the USA!

but maybe he needs to come down to earth and help Americans as past billionaires have done ... Rockefeller's have done for example

And perhaps it is, but he doesn’t have his billions sitting in stacks of hundred dollar bills in a vault some where.

His net worth is in shares of Amazon stock and the actual number of how rich Bezos or Bill Gates or anyone like that is, is tied to their company’s share price at any given time.
