Long before she was the First Lady, Michelle Obama nee Robinson was growing up in a South Shore bungalow in Chicago, Illinois. Her father was a city-pump operator, and while that didnt afford the family a lot of money, it was enough money for the Robinson family to survive. Everyone in the Robinson family, but especially the Michelle was intelligent, and she ended up skipping the second grade before studying French and biology.
Growing up, Robinsons father fought through multiple sclerosis, something that inspired her to focus on her studies and stay out of trouble. She went on to study at Chicagos first magnet school before moving onto Princeton.

(32,088 posts)I just read the "Trump said I reminded her of my daughter. I was 13 at the time" post. This post quells the nausea. Thank you.
I miss having good, decent people in the White House, instead of a bunch of perverts and other criminals.
