A Resolution or a Censure would be a warning shot ...

...across the bow of the racist and divisive Republican Party and their racist president.

Yes, there are limits to what you can do and say and not be held accountable. It is the job of the majority in the US Congress to hold them accountable. The hateful, racist tweets and language of the Republicans in Washington are not acceptable.

The "Resolution" to condemn such language is a shot across the bow. There are limits to the divisive and inflammatory threats that emanate from the national Republican Party.

The majority of Americans do not accept this racist and divisive language. There has to be a higher standard in our national dialogue.

Democrats will vote to condemn such language and the racists should be forewarned.

of saying they are with Trump, because WE know they are.

Because their SILENCE speaks volumes. Vote the fuckers out in 2020.

> there are limits to what you can do and say and not be held accountable

so the limit is "don't make abjectly racist and xenophobic tweets about members of congress"?
once again, with Trump's help, we've raised the bar to an all-time low.

sexually assaulting women? fine.
telling the country the first black president was born in Kenya and should go back? fine.
accepting unspecified levels of campaign assistance from foreign nations? fine.
holding asylum-seeking immigrants indefinitely in concentration camps? including small children? fine.
shmoozing with dictators? fine.
ruining the USA's reputation abroad? fine.
lying to the public thousands of times since taking office? fine.

but somehow we're gonna win big in 2020, right?
