...Trump narrowly winning Rust Belt states in 2016, thinking he's going to have a repeat in 2020. That's one reason he's playing so hard to his base.

b) largely suburban (wealthy/college educated) district;
c) announced earlier this year that she was not running again in 2020.

The gerrymanding/teaparty takeover of the GOP has turned this red but verging purple state in the aughts into a crazy rw repub. red state.

I am glad for her vote, but she is not any kind of bellweather of future breaks from die hard trump backing.
