Walker naturally promotes Rmoney's "Let Detroit go bankrupt!" idea because the bankruptcy approach would have facilitated some major union busting--which is what Walker is all about.

(39,191 posts)but was loved by it's hundreds of thousands of owners, with a stellar record or few recalls and one of the hottest stealth rockets GM ever made, the SS Trailblazer.
The in-line 6 cylinder 285HP engine that was standard was an awesome and reliable motor, but it was pulling a 4000lb. + SUV around that was being replaced by the Traverse family of AWD vehicles.
It was too costly to retool the plant and unlike Toyota, GM doesn't build a vehicle for every niche segment of the market.
I do want to own an SS one day.
