and do their patriotic duty

To be honest with you I would have preferred a presidential executive order ordering all the banks to loosen up lending in 2009.

Obama didn't become President until 2009, but the GOP corporate whores blame the plant closure on Obama.

that every plant related to the U.S. auto industry would stay open, and thus Obama broke his promise because they didn't all stay open. Of course that's utter nonsense.

Walker naturally promotes Rmoney's "Let Detroit go bankrupt!" idea because the bankruptcy approach would have facilitated some major union busting--which is what Walker is all about.

but was loved by it's hundreds of thousands of owners, with a stellar record or few recalls and one of the hottest stealth rockets GM ever made, the SS Trailblazer.

The in-line 6 cylinder 285HP engine that was standard was an awesome and reliable motor, but it was pulling a 4000lb. + SUV around that was being replaced by the Traverse family of AWD vehicles.

It was too costly to retool the plant and unlike Toyota, GM doesn't build a vehicle for every niche segment of the market.

I do want to own an SS one day.
