Each Congressperson on the committee will have 5 minutes to question Mueller? This format is a recipe for disaster. Why do this except to allow grandstanding and sound bites? Supposedly they want to educate the American people on a complex subject. Who are they kidding. No wonder Mueller is reluctant to testify. I'm disgusted and I think tomorrow's hearings are doomed to failure

(13,891 posts)gather input from all committee members but I would have a very focused and carefully organized approach to Mueller.

But, there is always a chance something big happens.

(25,857 posts)And yeah, the Congress people always make their own self-serving speeches and rarely get to anything of substance. Is AOC on the committee? She doesn't waste time and will ask really good questions.

(83,760 posts)Well I doubt that Mueller will grab the mic and give a soliloquy like Kavanaugh did to run out a Congresspersons time. Kav had an agenda and a Barr to meet.
