Sixteen U.S. Marines were arrested on Thursday morning for their alleged involvement in activities ranging from human smuggling to drug-related offenses, the Marine Corps said.
The arrests were carried out by officials from 1st Marine Division and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service during an 800-person battalion formation at Camp Pendleton in California.

Weird how they have no comment now considering how they're so big on coming mass arrests for people who they say who do things as described in the article, weird how they say no "coming storm" is going to happen at the camp before the arrests... so, I dunno guys, I kinda doubt this QAnon has q-level security clearance at all.

(707 posts)Most of these young people make around $8-10/hr before taxes in SoCal on their base pay. I remember my days in those shoes and when not deployed we always tried to have a side job for me it was delivering pizza. At least for me I was east coast in Virginia Beach and a lower cost of living. Im not excusing anything and will wait for more details about what was going on before jumping to conclusions.
I just got back from Coronado and Pendleton last month. Most of those in the barracks are E-1 to E-3 which are usually 18-20 years old. So far what I have heard is a couple may have done something serious but a majority were caught up in a barracks shakedown that found weed. Though that is not ok for military members they are in a state that off post is legal and everywhere.
Just an old mans view anyway.
