In a nearly seven-minute harangue, Joe Scarborough dismissed the Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) as “Moscow Mitch” for what he deemed as “un-American” lack of action on election security, Mediaite reports.

The Morning Joe host then suggested that McConnell may be benefiting from a Russian oligarch’s investment in his home state: “I understand that there’s an oligarch that I have read is going to be setting up a big aluminum plant in Moscow Mitch’s home state.”

He added: “I don’t know if that’s it. But how can Moscow Mitch so willingly turn a blind eye not only this year to what his Republican chairman of the Intel committee is saying, to what Robert Mueller is saying what the FBI director is saying what the DNI is saying, to what the CIA is saying, to what the United States military Intel community is saying. How can Moscow Mitch keep denying that Vladimir Putin continues to try to subvert American democracy?”

First time I've ever made a campaign contribution to a non-New Yorker (other than contributions to candidates running for president, of course).

Moscow Mitch's opponent is Amy McGrath, a veteran Marine fighter pilot. That's about all I know about her. That, and she's seeking to unseat Moscow Mitch. That's good enough for me!

I hate Moscow Mitch with every fiber of my being. From "My number one priority is to make Obama a one-term president" to refusing to open confirmation hearings for Judge Garland and everything in between and since, that bastard has done as much, if not more, as Trump has in furtherance of the destruction of our institutions and democracy.

I believe that McConnell stole the election in 2014 from Allison Grimes..
They were within the margin if error a few days before the election and McConnell won by about 15%.
Could it be (and now we know hell yes there was) Russian interference even back then?
In 2014 there was something terribly wrong. We lost Senate seats that we thought were safe and it was just too damn easy for the Republicans to gain as many Senate seats as they did and regain the Majority
Back then several top analysts said something wasn't right but then that theory was pushed aside by the Corporate Media.

...It ain't rocket science..is it? "Election Security" really means...no cheating for the Republican Party. No Russian involvement, no chance to repeat this last show. No cheating for anyone involved. And, much stronger security: fair elections. Why would Moscow Mitch turn a blind eye to that idea??? What is the real reason Moscow Mitch doesn't want, fair elections?
